Gaby’s Fearless Chic Dining Room

Hi everyone!

Here’s my latest E-Decorating project! This inspiration board belongs to a dear friend, Gaby, who has fabulous style but runs a very busy life. Enter, Zania… Gaby is full of life and there’s not a day that goes by that she’s not dressed to the nines. While she has her regular 9-to-5 job at a well-known media company, she is also an entrepreneur in the fashion industry. (Check out her online clothing site AlmaMei. I also borrowed a necklace from her line for my music video). Not only is she following her dreams, but she is also contributing to a greater cause through her passion. Who doesn’t love that?! Bravo! Needless to say, when she asked for my help in decorating her dining room, I knew exactly how to reflect her personality through decor. I call it: Fearless Chic! Aren’t these great?!! They inspire me to do something out of the box with my pumpkin this year! Almost every year my husband and I carve pumpkins. Sometimes we get a little too competitive and more often than not we end up biting off more than we can chew. Needless to say, it ends up being a fun activity. Here are our crafty creations from 2010.

Miss Ideas Webisode #5 – Tres formas de arreglar flores

This week’s Miss Ideas episode on Yahoo En Español teaches you how to make three different flower arrangements. One arrangement is tall, the other short and bunched up and the last consists of floating flowers. This was fun to make. For filming purposes we did not include the part where you should cut the flowers’ stems under running water. Also, you don’t have to follow the rules exactly as they appear on the screen. Those are meant to be guidelines. You can do whatever you want and get your own version of flower arrangements.

En este episodio de Miss Ideas en Yahoo En Español aprenderán como hacer trés arreglos de flores sin pasar mucho trabajo. Un arreglo es alto, el otro corto y el último es con flores flotantes. Es muy lindo y moderno. Por razones de grabación, no incluimos la parte donde se deben de cortar los tallos de las flores debajo del agua. Tengan en cuenta que las instrucciones en la pantalla son guias y no necesariamente deben de seguirse al pie de la letra. Usenlo como quieran y seguramente terminarán con un arreglo muy bonito.
